This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how it is stored and processed, and your rights under applicable privacy laws, including the GDPR. Your account credentials and game state are stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL). We also store your local state in your browser localStorage for immediate offline performance.
All payment transactions on the web are processed securely by Stripe. Purchases made through the iOS app are processed by Apple via In-App Purchase. We never see, receive, or store your credit or debit card numbers on our servers.
Subscriptions: Found The Way Plus is an auto-renewing subscription available monthly (€4.99/month) or annually (€34.99/year). Your subscription will automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time in your Apple ID account settings (Settings → your name → Subscriptions). No refunds are provided for the unused portion of a subscription period.
Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
If you choose to upload a CV or resume, the text content is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for analysis and the resulting career insights are stored in your account. Raw file contents are not permanently stored on our servers beyond the analysis process. We do not share your CV content with third parties.
The app may request access to your photo library or camera solely to allow you to upload or photograph a CV document. We do not access your photos for any other purpose, and we do not upload, store, or share any images from your camera roll.
We use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to collect anonymous, aggregate information about page views and usage patterns to improve our application. We do not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking networks, or marketing cookies. Only essential cookies required for authentication and session persistence are used.
We operate an ad-free service. We do not display third-party advertisements and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties under any circumstances.
Under the GDPR and global privacy regulations, you have the right to access, export, or request deletion of your personal data. You can delete your account and clear all associated Career DNA data at any time from your account settings. Alternatively, you can request a full data export or account deletion by emailing amirhosseinshokouhipour@gmail.com.
Found The Way is intended for individuals who are at least 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal data from children under 13.
